"Our primary goal was to build up our infrastructure, to support learning with technology,” according to Karen Portle, MCCSC’s director of information services. “This included incorporating video conferencing and video streaming resources into the classroom, which changed some of the ways teachers deliver instructions to students.”
MCCSC also sees cost savings, as fiber optic technology allows the district to centralize information storage and management.
